Find where to watch a film legally

01 Identify the title

Search the original title, year and director: remakes and translated titles can cause confusion. Set your country in an availability finder, then open the service’s own page. Account and travel countries may yield different results.

02 Check local access

Identify access type: subscription, rental, purchase, catch-up or ad-funded service. Appearing in an app’s results does not mean a title is included. Check version, subtitles and any removal date.

03 Check the version

If unavailable, look for a physical edition, library or screening. Avoid sites promising every recent film free while demanding a payment card for supposed verification. Our database describes works; it does not provide live availability.

Frequently asked questions

Does an entry prove access?

Open the local entry and check playback: rental, add-ons and subscription can be separate.
